Mariama Hawkins

Fashion Designer

Photographer

I believe that design and style doesn’t have to come from purchasing the newest trends. By reimagining second-hand and deadstock fabrics or what you already have in your closet, I can create bold, unique garments that make a statement while being sustainable. My designs are crafted for individuals who want to stand out in their everyday wear.

Trashion COLLECTION

The Dollhouse

Step into the whimsical world of a coquette. This promotional shoot for the Fashion Board Fashion Show features soft pastels, delicate ruffles, and playful bows, blending youthful glamour with sophisticated elegance.

Shadows on the Sidewalk

This shoot captures the gritty, raw atmosphere of lesser-known campus locations and symbolizes the challenges of maintaining long-distance relationships during college. It explores the emotional depth of self-talk and the personal growth that comes with navigating distance and independence.

Holiday Edit

This shoot takes inspiration from Y2K-era JCPenney and Macy’s holiday print advertisements, capturing the nostalgic charm and festive spirit of the season. It combines bold colors, kitschy holiday aesthetics, reimagined with a modern twist.
